Imamiya Koto Hachiman Shrine is located in a lush green area at the foot of Mt. Kaori. The shrine buildings are surrounded by tall trees, creating a refreshing space with a quiet and invigorating atmosphere. Highlights include the Zenshinmon gate and ema hall, as well as a unique omikuji (fortune-telling slips) where you choose from logs. However, the shrine office is unstaffed, and御朱印 (shuin - temple/shrine stamps) are obtained at an adjacent restaurant, leading to some inconvenience. Weekends can be lively with many children due to a nearby baseball field, but weekdays offer a more peaceful visit.
