Kitahara Suwa Shrine, founded by the Chiku clan, is known for its 'Onbashira Matsuri' held every seven years. The sacred zelkova tree on the grounds is hollowed out and large enough for adults to enter. During the festival, parishioners actively participate. However, the shrine's general recognition seems low.
