Daitōji Temple is an ancient temple associated with the Toki clan, lords of Ryugasaki Castle. It features stone Buddhas and a bell, and is the resting place of Toki clan members and the haiku poet Midori Sugino. While often quiet for contemplation, it can be crowded during Obon and Ohigan. Some reports mention significant construction work.
