Nagadera Temple is the final temple of the Bandō Thirty-three Kannon Pilgrimage, featuring many historical structures and Buddhist statues. The temple grounds offer a superb view of Tateyama city and Tokyo Bay. During the Year of the Horse special viewing period, visitors can see the Kamakura-period Thousand-armed Kannon statue, drawing many worshippers. While access by public transport is somewhat inconvenient, free parking is available. Despite some concerns about potential cliff collapses, the grounds appear to be generally well-maintained.
