In a retro Showa-era atmosphere, this restaurant boasts kama-meshi (rice cooked in a pot) while overlooking Lake Toya. The scallop and crab kama-meshi are particularly praised for their delicious flavor infused into the rice. Despite being a tourist spot, prices are reasonable, and many find the cost performance good. However, the entrance is hard to find and involves stairs, making it difficult for wheelchair users. The interior is old and can feel cold. There were also reports of issues with using the Go To Eat campaign.
