Although the historical background of the Horikoshi Gosho Imperial Villa ruins is deep, little remains of the actual historical site, leaving it mostly an open field with an explanatory sign. It can serve as a learning place for history enthusiasts, but there seems to be no progress on plans for its development as a historical park.
