Tsutsumiya is known for its large, soft dango (rice dumplings) and generous amounts of filling. Their zunda (sweet green soybean paste), walnut, and sesame fillings are particularly popular, offering a rich, less-sweet flavor. Besides dango, their 'Tsutsumiage' (fried manju) is also popular, featuring a dough similar to sata andagi filled with bean paste, perfect with tea. They offer free tea service, and the owner speaks English.
