Gegu Shrine enshrines the same deity as Ujingu's Jogu but was historically a place for commoners and worshipped as a guardian deity of industry. It's considered essential for a complete Ujingu pilgrimage ('A visit to Gegu is necessary for a complete pilgrimage'). It offers a different, worthwhile atmosphere compared to Jogu.
