This accommodation offers wonderful views along the Uji River, but has some areas for improvement in facilities and service. Notably, guests were disappointed by the lack of information regarding the closure of the large public bath and the discontinuation of the shuttle service. While meals are generally well-received, there are some comments on the rice quality and serving style. The location is convenient for Byodo-in Temple, but a bit far from the station.
