Munakata Taisha Nakatsu Shrine, located on Okino Island, is a World Heritage site component, enshrining Tagitsuhime-no-Mikoto, the second daughter of the Munakata goddesses. It offers a serene and tranquil atmosphere with many subsidiary shrines, evoking a sense of history. Two types of Goshuin (temple seals) are available: 'Nakatsu Shrine' and 'Okitsu Shrine'. Access requires a ferry ride, but it's relatively easy from Oshima Port on foot. It's also associated with the Tanabata legend.
