Tamon-ji Temple, a Tendai sect temple said to have been founded in the Heian period, is particularly known for its irises that bloom in early May. The Buddha statues in the Nio-mon gate are also impressive, and it is one of the Kōbe Jusanbutsu pilgrimage sites. Free parking is available, but be aware of crowds during the iris season. It's easily accessible from the bus stop, but may be inconvenient on foot. Some find it difficult for wheelchair users due to the many stairs.
