The thatched-roof temple gate and main hall are majestic, creating an ancient, otherworldly atmosphere with mossy grounds and cedar trees. It's especially lively during cherry blossom season. Currently undergoing roof repairs, it will be even more worthwhile after completion and for the 2026 secret Buddha unveiling. Access is by foot or car from the station, but early morning visits may make it difficult to confirm Goshuin availability or guidance.
